Thank you for your prior support for the Harris County school board, and I was honored with your support the primary election earlier this year. Serving on the HCAD Board is another way to participate in public service and serve our community, in the largest county in Texas.

Clear communication with taxpayers about how property values are determined and how HCAD operates.
Fair and impartial processes — treat taxpayers, businesses, and property owners consistently and equitably.

Responsible stewardship of taxpayer-funded resources — deliver value for every dollar in HCAD’s budget.
Measure performance — establish clear goals for appraisal accuracy, taxpayer service, response times, and appeals.
Modernize operations and technology to reduce unnecessary costs and improve service.
Streamline the protest and appeals process while protecting every taxpayer’s right to a fair hearing.
